    Lixue Chen was born in 1984. He received the B.S., M.S., and PH.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2005, 2007, and 2011, respectively. He is currently an associate professor with the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, HUST. His research interests include pulsed power technology and electromagnetic launching.
